I am my first line of defense, unless you provide 24/7 security.

I have every right, as a law abiding citizen, to protect myself as my first line of defense. Mr. Governor, unless you are going to promise there will be no more home invasions, no more car jackings, police response in less than 30 seconds of any possible deadly event, and criminals will no longer have any type of deadly weapon, then I know I shall utilize the 2nd Amendment to it's fullest extent of the law.  I practice  with my weapon at the Norfolk Gun Club at least every 3 months, and am a responsible gun owner.  I am a real estate broker and the national number one cause of death on the job is homicide.  And you are going to protect me how?  The good guys with weapons are not your concern.  Banning guns is going against the 2nd Amendment and you will find yourself in non-stop lawsuits.  Great way to spend Virginia taxpayers' money.  Not surprising that that is your desire, however.
