Concealed Handgun Permit holders have all received a background check and training. They are an asset to public safety and have a better chance to stop a tragedy than an unarmed citizen. I do not carry by choice but I feel safe around CHP holders for the same reason I feel safe around police officers. I have not heard ANY rational justification about how this measure enhances public safety. Please think about what you are doing.
