Stay in RGGI

We need to stay in RGGI!

As a homeowner, I invested in installing solar panels on my house in 2015. RGGI has been critical in developing the solar renewable energy credit market in Virginia and it will encourage more homeowners to make the investment I did.  Also, withouth RGGI Virginia will not meets the goals set out in the Virginia Clean Economy Act. In fact, it appears illegal for Governor Youngkin to pull VA out of RGGI.

RGGI has widespread benefits to Virginia. First, our air is cleaner and less polluted because of RGGI. Second, proceeds from RGGI fund flood control initiatives which are clearly needed in our coastal communities. Third, RGGI can be a way to reduce energy bills for low income communities.
