To the VA Board of Health:
Why is it that "routine" medical issues, including vaccinations, must be done in clean environments - in clinics approved by the state Board of Health. However one 'life threatening' issue - abortion - can be done anywhere, anytime without Board of Health approval.
If abortion facilities do not need state approval regarding clean, sterile facilities, then you should go out of business. For example, hospitals should not need to abide by strict standards. Stop talking our of both sides of your mouth.
If hospitals, doctor's offices, etc. are to be inspected and regulated for proper procedures, sterile environments, etc. the same standards must be enforced for abortion clinics. Please make sure that your regulations cover abortion clinic, along with hospitals, etc.
This is not a political issue; it is a health issue that must be regulated!
