Attempted Government over reach based on the leadership's insecurity, uneasiness, distrust and outright fear of the same American citizens who in contrast saw them as the opposite - secure, trustworthy, open - and elected them, putting them where they are.  Each and every elected bureaucrat in the Government wouldn't be sitting at the desk they are right now without the people's vote of confidence.  Shame on them for not reflecting this same confidence in the people!
