Revoking the concealed carry reciprocity with the other states harms Virginia residents. Revocation of agreements with other states will cause those states to revoke their acceptance of Virginia concealed carry permits, putting Virginians traveling to other state at risk because they will no longer be able to carry firearms for personal protection. This revoking of reciprocity will also prohibit visitors from the formerly reciprocal states to protect themselves when they visit Virginia and could also adversely affect Virginia tourism. The changes in reciprocal concealed agreements does not increase the security of the residents of Virginia and appears to be simply a "back-door" ploy to further restrict the Second Amendment rights of Virginians.
