My father, son, and I all wore the uniforms of this country. We served proudly in support of the Constitution, which our socialist governor now wants to trample. While I support the right of an individual state/commonwealth to exercise its sovereignty, I do not condone this governor's abuse of office. The decision on such a matter should rest solely with the General Assembly of the Commonwealth. Disregarding the separation of powers is already endemic at the federal level through the promulgation of executive orders. Let us not allow such an abuse to run rough shot over our hard-won liberty here in Virginia.
