Proposed gun ban

Statistics  would indicate that violent crime has decreased corespondent to the rise in gun ownership.  It would therefore be illogical to ban guns in the hope that criminals in our society would adhere to the ban.  Additionally, recent events in California, Ohio and throughout the world demonstrate that there is a violent element seeking to destroy our government, our Christian beliefs and our way of life.  I cannot in good conscience support an action that would leave me unable to protect and defend my family.  Politically, I would not support anyone who would deny me my Constitutionally guaranteed right to bear arms.
