This regulation makes Virginians unsafe

This regulation will make it unsafe for Virginians to enter any building controlled by the Executive Branch. Anyone with a concealed weapons permit has been investigated and found to be legally allowed to have said permit. These are not the people you should be worried about. The ones to worry about are not going to obey this regulation to start with. All of the mass shootings in this country have taken place in "gun free zones'. You are just creating another one with this regulation. If the Governor feels this is needed, it should be brought up in the General Assembly and not by an edict issued by one man. Keep our ability to protect ourselves intact. Private business has a right to restrict firearms in private establishments and I can choose not to do business with them, but sometimes you are required to visit a state agency that comes under control of the Executive Branch and we cannot refuse to go into such agency.Let us keep our right to defend ourselves when we have to visit one of these agencies. Sometimes you just don't have time to dial 911 and wait for the police response. And I would prefer to have a chance to defend myself rather than be a sitting target for whatever evil might happen, and as good as our law enforcement members are, sometimes they just can't get there in time.
