This action endangers the lives of Virginians.  There has never been a mass shooting in a Virgina State facility, but this ban makes these facilities tempting targets for mass shooters.  Mass shooters always choose "gun free zones" because they want a massacre with no possibility of resistance.  By disarming staff and visitors you are giving bad actors exactly what they seek and depriving the potential victims of the means of saving themselves and others.  This ban makes no sense.  It is pure political posturing at the expense of the welware of others.
