Constitutional rights don't end at government building doors

I disagree with both the anti-carry regulation the Governor has created and the way he implemented this regulation. The end-run around the General Assembly is an anti-Constitutional usurption of power.

Further, this effort does absolutely nothing to serve to protect the citizens of the state of Virginia. In fact, it succeedes in accomplishing exactly the opposite effect.

The citizens of Virginia deserve a voice in the laws of the state. The Governor has done a tremendous disservice to the citizenry and to the balance of power by forcing his will upon us without our representatives having a vote in the matter. The balance of power in all government bodies is extremely important, and any efforts to short circuit that balance can only be viewed as anti-democracy and anti-freedom.

This regulation should be refused and the emergency regulation should be withdrawn.
