This regulation endangers government employees and citizens using these facilities

1. It is known that only two (2) of the mass shootings since the 1950s have occurred in "gun-free zones".  There are examples, like the movie shooting in Colorado, where the shooter passed up movie theatres allowing guns to shoot at a theatre that did not allow guns.  The citizen know that gun free zones are preferred places for mass killings, to the point they are colloqually known as "gun-free kill zones".  The government has made a mockery of their representation of the citizens by ingnoring their wishes.  Please do not allow this rule to pass, and for once, act as the representatives of the best interest of the people.

2. The governor does not have the authority for substantively altering the rights of the people.  The general assembly never gave him this right.  It WILL NOT hold up in court.  THerefore, this regulation is a WASTE of government resources.

3.  The rule does not even resolve any problem.  Efforts should be spent elsewhere, to help the commonwealth, rather than spin its wheels.

Please do not approve these regulations, and withdraw the emergency regulation.

Please also extend the comment period in order to allow me, and others, time to research further.
