Reverting to making state agencies and offices gun free areas is not warranted based on the history no shootings in these areas being committed by licensed carriers of firearms.

Creating these gun free zones denies citizens of their right of self defense, those bent on mayhem will not obey the regulation.

The comment period should be extended to allow a larger cross section of Virginia citizens to reply.
