illegal, unconstitutional regulation

The Governor has exceeded his authority with this dangerous regulation.  The Gun Free Zone experiment has failed miserably.  A prohibition on carrying firearms only serves to attract lunatics and terrorists to an area full of disarmed people.  This regulation violates both the Virginia and United States Constitution by infringing on the right to bear arms.

Legally armed Virginia will be forced to handle firearms in the parking lots of state buildings, in order to store or retrieve pistols before entering or leaving state offices.

Madmen, criminals and terrorsits will celebrate the creation of new victim zones for their crimes.  the Governor should be ashamed of himself.
