As people of conscience, it is essential to support initiatives like RGGI that help us achieve our goal to address the impacts of climate change and reach carbon-free energy by 2050.  It is imperative that we take seriously our responsibility .as parents and grandparents to ensure a healthy planet for those who come after us.   I believe Virginia's participation in RGGI is a successful effort to reduce pollution while directly helping communities on the front lines. Let us not go backwards in reducing greenhouse gas emissions!
