Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).
As a mental health worker I support education around sexual reproduction but graphic sexual reading materials in no way helps to educate kids. Parents should not have to worry about what their kids are getting from a SCHOOL library.
