I agree with this guidance document.  If we are truely trying to provide a safe and positive learning environment there is no need to provide and discuss controversial sexual material.  I, as a pediatric nurse,  believe that the oversexualizion of our children is harmful and have not understood why so many people are pushing it.  It is confusing and distracting to them and then they are focusing on the harmful content instead of basics.  Schools should be teaching reading, writing,  math and science.  Our kids in Fairfax county are so far behind in basics because of the pandemic and our schools need to go back to basics and quit pushing political agendas. We can still encourage and respect EVERY student without teaching by using sexual content.
