I strongly oppose this.
 
It endangers everyone's safety to make state agencies safe for violent criminals. All a gun ban does is assure criminals that the law abiding citizens inside will not be able to defend themselves and therefore makes it an attractive target for a violent criminal. They are assured they will be able to hurt people and nobody will be able to stop them. Police will arrive too late. Gun bans en danger lives, gun bans do not save lives. Violent criminals do not follow laws.
