The proposed regulations will remove Virginians right to self protection as guaranteed by the Constitution.   As has been proven in the past, gun free zones are prime targets for deranged individuals and terrorists, domestic and foreign.   As a veteran of over thirty (30) years of miIitary service, defending the Constitution of the United States, I strongly oppose these regulations.    Denying responsible citizens the right to defend themselves and their families is not the solution.

It is also recommended that the period of comment be extended for and additional thirty (30) days.
