As a parent of 4 children in Virginia public schools I most definitely deserve the right to be notified of any explicit content they are exposed to.  I spend a lot of time, energy and money ensuring that my children are not exposed to explicit content on the internet, tv, movies and music.  It is not a teacher's right to undo all of my work as a parent and force my children to read or view such content without my knowledge or consent.
