Collusion is no joke. I want to see racing succeed as much as anybody on this board but I am not willing to sacrifice the best interests of all my fellow Virginians in the process. Unfortunately the VRC doesn't see it that way and have at the very least engaged in questionable behavior that prevents them from being able to render the kind of fair and impartial decisions Virginia needs to protect us in the future. This link is to recent article from the Richmond Times Dispatch that is a must read for everyone interested in the future of racing and slots in Commonwealth. To say I am dissappointed in our leadership is an understatement. This is a violation of the public trust and any actions taken by this commission in the future will be suspect, and that is something we cannot compromise as we deal with the expansion of gambling here in Virginia .Chairman VanClief has violated the public trust and as long as he remains chairman of any decisions the VRC makes will be questioned and we can't afford that.
