I have 6 children within the Fairfax County School borders (and many more nieces and nephews) 

I feel very strongly that parents should be informed of potentially objectionable materials to be used in the classroom. Parents are the primary educators of their children and should have the right to preview books that will be required reading and have the opportunity to opt out if the content is offensive.
