Diesel generators are not the answer

The use of dirty diesel generators at data centers would run contrary to the DEQ's mission "to protect and enhance the environment of Virginia in order to promote the health and well-being of the Commonwealth's citizens, residents, and visitors.” As a Virginia resident, I am counting on the DEQ to step up and put people first. Profitable tech companies can afford to install the less polluting Tier 4 generators for their business and should be required to do so for the privilege of using the Commonwealth's resources--our water, land, electricity, and reliable infrastructure. Please protect our air quality!
