While there is no one perfect solution to the problems and costs facing us in the form of climate change induced disruptions to our lives and businesses in Virginia, the USA and the world, there are many actions that together can make an improvement. Economic forecasts have made it clear that the cost of inaction is much higher than the cost of action. Virginia's participation in this regional environmental improvement effort is just one part of the actions we can all take, particularly because it puts action in the hands of organizations best positioned to make changes, large energy companies.

The current plan is not a great solution.  Backing out of it is a much worse solution.
