Commenter: Colleen Dobbs, Loudoun County Public Schools Teacher

Please reject this legislation.

As an English teacher, I cover a multitude of texts each year, and I have to use my best judgment as to which material is reasonable to be covered in a public school classroom.  By creating a vague rule about potentially "sensitive" material, it requires me to read minds and determine what any individual might consider sensitive (which is, of course, an impossible task).  Please have faith in your teachers that we are providing the necessary context/background/discussion in our classrooms to alleviate most concerns about "sensitive" material, and that we are also open to any parent inquiries if the need arises (without a regulation being put in place).  Thank you.
