GLI Recommendations

A permit holder shall develop and prominently publish procedures by which a sports bettor may file a complaint with the permit holder in person, in writing, online, or by other means about any aspect of the sports betting program. A permit holder shall implement and prominently publish procedures for responding to and reporting on complaints by sports bettors that their accounts have been misallocated, compromised, or otherwise mishandled;

GLI recommends

1. 1. Removing the word “Consumer” from 11 VAC 5-80-30 header.
   2. Moving 11 VAC 5-80-100.F.4 after 11 VAC 5-80-30.A.
   3. Removal of “prominently publish” as it’s usually not required for the complaint procedures to be displayed.
