EVV is added stress

MCOs taking so long to review paperwork to update authorizations. In addition, the Authorization Department is NOT coordinating with Care Coordinators who are actually visiting the consumer and could provide useful firsthand input. Slashing of hours appears to be way for MCO to earn money versus what hours are required for consumer based on DMAS 97. For instance, I have a consumer who is paralyzed waist down with limited movement in arms/hands and his 42.5 hrs a week were slashed to 30 hrs a week! He requires constant care and lucky his family is there for him although causing financial hardship with their not being able to work outside the home. Our lives are difficult enough without adding additional stress!

EVV is also massively stressful
