Stop evv

Due to EVV I have lost 2 attendants, and may be losing a 3rd. Finding someone who wants to work u der the conditions of EVV has become a issue. Attendants work for minimum wage, often under stressful behavioral conditions. Attendants are reluctant to be geo-located during their workday, to be biometrically identified, or to take a job requiring technology skills without increased compensation. Quality care is what is at risk here. Some employees are cautioning consumers they will leave once subjected to EVV.
Potential workers are going elsewhere when they learn that GPS or biometrics are required. Individuals with disabilities across the country are facing increased provider shortage because states are not prohibited from utilizing GPS and biometric features under EVV.
People with disabilities have the right to control their lives as any other person. EVV takes that right away. EVV is far more than a time clock; it puts a person under surveillance in a way that goes beyond clocking in and out for a shift.  It is leaving providers worried about their pay, consumers worried about the loss of care, affecting how people receive their care and violating their rights to privacy.
There is also so many unanswered questions that are being pushed aside with no response about the system. It will cost the government/Medicaid more money in the long run for this system with upkeep on data breach protection/system bugs, standard up keep, plus saves on law suits for those wronged. vs signing in how employees do now and with the monthly service facilitor meetings, doctors, and constant contact with Medicaid case workers, now are simple and easy and still very throughly gone through to keep fraudulent activities at minimum, the way things are now are simple for the disabled it give us freedom to not feel like criminals or terrorists and let's us keep our rights as Americans, The Evv will cause lots of honest people trouble because no one has thought this process throughly and cost Medicaid more money. Not including the current issues the apps are having and we are required to start using by march first even though given the 1 year extension. Its complete B.S! And it makes it harder for parents with those under the age of 18 that cant find help because we can not become care givers even when it takes away our ability to work.
