evv rigidity

Whoever made this decision about EVV can't possibly know what is involved in caring for people with special needs.  Everyone is different; and evv has no flexibility.  We are being made to make a choice.  If we don't use the EVV app, our child will lose greatly needed help.  If we do use the app, our child will be left choking on food, waiting for a diaper change, miss a bus, or, worse, risk being murdered for pulling over on a lonely road to punch out.  It has been stated in the information from medicaid that my child will lose their care if this happens, and it doesn't appear there is a way for us to keep this from happening.  Caring for a person with special needs can be very stressful.  The EVV app requirement has just doubled that stress.  Our child is wheelchair bound, non verbal, and depends on a lot of special care.  In the past, the care workers could write their time in and time out during a free moment.  With EVV, they go over their allowed time, because there are times you cannot just stop what you are doing to punch out.  Now, they are being forced to do this.  Why is our family being put through this stress?  It makes no sense.
