Roof top solar systems allow home owners to reduce utility bills while also helping the enviroment. Tax credits and rebates have been a key factor in keeping our business alive. Net metering allows homeowners to receive a fair compensation for the power they produce. Stand by fees and added charges for infrastructure maintenance to solar customers would be unfair and detrimental to small companies like us. Would a homeowner that decides to install a solar clothes dryer have to pay additional maintenance fees for reducing their electric consumption?
