I am pleased to learn about this VA bill to cap and reduce carbon emissions from power plants. As a citizen concerned about the current administration's attempts to relax climate and environment controls to benefit big oil and gas, I am proud that VA is ready to take up the mantle to pursue Clean Energy. It is to our economic and health benefits that we sought to reduce carbon emissions from power facilities and other sources, and speed up the adoption of a clean energy economy. We already have to catch up with other developing and developed countries who are committed to address climate change.
