Opposition to the permanent order banning firearms from State buildings

It appears that Governor McAuliffe's executive order banning firearms in state buildings was a political solution to a non-existent problem as there has been no historical or current problem with shootings in Virginia state agencies or any real need justifying this restriction on law-abiding Virginians.  Those of us who have gone through the vetting process to get our concealed carry permits are are among the most law abiding citizens and the existing "emergency" order needs to be rescinded and NO permanent order put in place.

Since the General Assembly, which controles thefield on firearms laws in Virginia, has NOT granted authority to the Governor to be able to prohibit guns in state agencies and since the members thereof voted to clarify that this issue wasn't under the Governor's perview, this permanent order should NOT be allowed to be put into effect.
