This ban  is a step backwards and makes no sense. Why are you creating more gun free zones when the statistics show that mass shootings always occur in gun free zones. Perhaps you have not read John Lotts book  More Guns Less Crime. A totally boring book of overwhelming statistical facts proving that more guns mean less crime. The parking lots to these buildings should be exempt and open carry should be allowed if the person has a CHP . I agree with others that a public hearing should be allowed on this.
