It would seem some want only criminals and government to have guns; the founding fathers were expressly clear on this and allowed for the Second Amendment to stave off a tyrannical government.  If we give up our Second Amendment rights, next will be the First Amendment.  The Second Amendment is simple, clear and necessary as the founders understood.
