For individuals who have been licensed mental health professionals prior to the current period of time, I feel that it is a situation where professionals who graduated prior to the CACREP requirement should be allowed to continue as mental health professionals. Most other states allow for a period of time prior to the requirement to be a time where professionals can ge "grandfathered" in to the profession which would be reasonable and appropriate.
