if a form of ID is expired then it is invalid. ..you can't change the definition of a word to suit your needs...if it expires then that person can go get a new one...if you change this lae, then you are opening can of worms, because then someone can argue that an invalid ID is now valid in every situation...driving, voting, drinking, etc...
