My mother is 88 (almost 89) and has ALWAYS voted----never had to produce a picture ID. She barely is able to get around-----we did have a picture ID from the DMV but it has expired----she may still have it and WE COULD use this. She obviously doesn't drive so it dependant on me for everything----now I will have to try & get her to the registrar for a new ID-----I'm sure there are many other elderly folks that can hardly get around who are in this situation! Also what about students who have finished at a college or university & have an expired or expiring college ID----is it just flat out silly that they could not use those IDs to vote.I, as a citizen, am sick of the ever-increasing implementation of laws/rules that make voting more difficult----all this garbage is intentional to limit older, disabled, poor citizens who are able to vote!! This sort of stuff has to stop!!! I truly wish ALL LEGISLATORS who are promoting these laws could be voted OUT.
