Virginia’s decision to join the RGGI was made by the general assembly. Young kin has no authority to pull us from it unilaterally. The program has earned $589 million for Virginia to deal with future climate disasters, like the hurricane currently devastating Florida, the wildfires that ravaged Maui, etc. Leaving would be bad for Virginia and benefits only he energy companies.
