Remain in RGGI - better for Virginians & beyond

It is disappointing when an elected official decides he is above the law. Particularly when that law benefits citizens and the environment we all rely upon. Virginia committed to RGGI long ago. For our governor to decide he no longer cares to listen to the will of the people is chilling. This lack of respect for law and for the environment is chilling. Not only does the RGGI encourage better stewardship of our environment, the funds garnered from RGGI have  facilitated improved flood protections and resilience. To withdraw from RGGI is a poor business decision, runs counter to good stewardship and reveals a lack of respect for established public will.
