3 Commonsense Reasons to Keep Va. in RGGI

I fully support keeping Virginia in RGGI. Here's why: (1) Data from participating states and Virginia show it works - it's a market-based tool that shifts power generators to gradually reduce their emissions. (2) The auction funds generated support flood planning and mitigation projects in vulnerable areas and invest in tangible energy efficiency projects across the Commonwealth - long term investments that improve our infrastructure and reduce energy. (3) It's the law and public servants including the Governor are wasting valuable public resources trying to pull us out of RGGI rather than working on improvements and other solutions to reduce harmful emissions and prepare our Commonwealth for future flooding, weather disasters, and economic impacts of Climate Change - whether you believe it's manmade or not. Thanks for hearing me out.
