Withdrawing from RGGI would be an irresponsible action for the state of Virginia.  We are one of the states with the highest risk from sea level rise resulting form in creased greenhouse gasses.  The state has benefited already from our engagement with RGGI with revenue exceeding what was originally predicted.    The legislature approved our participation and only legislation can reverse that decision.  Any decision to leave the agreement is a decision to sacrifice the wellbeing of Virginia citizens to appease corporate greed.  Do not withdraw from RGGI now or in the future.
