Everyone wants a cleaner environment but the solution for many appears to be "spend someone else's money", end fossil fuel use and jump on the renewable bandwagon.  As I look around me while typing this keyboard, I note that the clothes I wear, the carpet in my room, a good part of my phone and computer are all made with/of fossil fuels.  The pens we write with including the ink; the toys our children play with; yep, fossil fuels.  The sooner we grow up and get serious about our world, the sooner we can come up with serious solutions.  The arrogance of us privileged people is disgusting.  We have the highest standard of living but if you are impoverished and living in Africa or South America we are going to do everything in our power to make sure you don't have the opportunities we have (as we drive our Teslas). If environmentalists are serious about solving problems start with clean water, not just for us but for the 80% of the world that doesn't have it.
