Va. Dept. of Education's Model Policies on Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content

I strongly support the proposed model policies on instructional materials with sexually explicit content.  Parents have a right to monitor and control whether such materials are used for their children.  Parents know their children best and are in the best position to know what is appropriate for them at their current stage of development.  It is unconscionable for such materials to be presented to children without parental involvement and permission.
