SB 656

I approve of SB 656; however, I would take it a step further. Sex Education has no place in public schools, period. It is a responsibility that belongs to parents and none other. Parents ought not abdicate this responsibility to others, including the VDOE. Neither public funds, nor precious time would be spent in the development of sex education materials if the general public and elected representatives fullly acknowledged the rights and responsibilities of parents. Parenthood is a sacred stewardship that demands protection from usurpation at every level.
