The proposed regulations are crucial for many reasons: Cruelty to animals needs to be included. Storing waste in huge piles out in the rain which runs right down to the stream beds causing terrible pollution. Over application of phosphorous is another serious with the waste is another pollution problem.
Another regulation needs to be written to establish standards for the treatment and habitat for the animals - a serious ethical concern.
