11VAC5-70-300. Minimum Internal Control Standards.

A. A permit holder and its sports betting platform supplier shall develop and maintain MICS that meet or exceed industry standards, such as Gaming Laboratories International’s Standard GLI-33.

Comment: We echo other comments and ask that the name of the independent testing laboratory and proprietary standard be removed from the regulation; doing so will mirror the current language and reference to the generic term “independent testing laboratory” found in 11VAC5-70-270. Additionally, we ask the Department include the phase “…meet or exceed industry standards as set by Director-approved independent testing laboratories.”
