I finally found an awesome person as an aide for my little guy, and y’all know how difficult that is. Did the online enrollment. It’s been a disaster!! Calls every couple of days to see if they’d received the documents, but it takes “7-10 business days for PPL to register into the computer that documents arrived”!!! What?!?! It’s been nearly three weeks, documents haven’t officially arrived, and now I got an email with some other attendants and some other family’s personal information? Yes, someone I don’t know, their SSN, someone else’s family, etc. Grrrr. When I called PPL about this breach of personal information, the first person I spoke to took it serious, but then I got transferred to the main on hold queue. After the hold, the next person just said disregard those emails. ?????
My “new hire” is getting frustrated, she has bills to pay and this “back pay” while PPL sorts all this out isn’t getting her her money. She’s about to walk away and be done and I don’t blame her.
I am now the proud owner of two case numbers from PPL but my son doesn’t have this awesome aide, and she doesn’t have a paycheck. Are we supposed to go back to agency driven? This is not good time
