Lost two attendants to unreliable evv
 

We have lost two(2) attendants because of evv issues.  The app will never resolve the issue of invasion of privacy and risks of data breaches; those will always be a given.  All the issues the app has with freezing up, shutting off, or just not working has to be resolved.  We have spent more time trying to make sure attendants are getting paid correctly and on the phone and communicating with CDCN than we should be (Maybe this is what the state wants?  If we are on the phone all the time with them, evv is obsolete!).  I we were to count the hours and many minutes we have dealt with this, it would be over two to three(2-3) hours a week, if not more.  One attendant's phone had to be reset by the phone store due to the app. messing up everything they had.  They lost pictures and other personal information as well.  Most of the time, the app doesn't work right, and when it does, it adjusts time itself posting hours overages and leaving attendants without pay.  My child needs constant care for their disability and evv is taking that away.
