I hope an exec. order with teeth in it is passed, otherwise it is a sop to the people, and not the leadership that is needed.  Kaine's climate change commission was a farce because it had no mandatory  renewable portfolio standards.  That decision, with backbone leadership, could have been different, it was tied and broken by Kaine's appointee that headed the commission. If we had a mandatory RPS I doubt that we would be having tree sitters now, our bravest, smartest youth putting their health and safety on the line. We have a similar progressive governor now.  We will see what happens this time.  And if our leaders, limited and suffering as we all are, don't have the moral courage to follow science instead of political expediency,  our way of life is in severe trouble.
