My vote has been cancelled in the past because of fradulent voting.

Nothing is worse than citizens losing confidence in the integrity of the vote.  Without that we can some day end up like countries that change leaders with violence.

I want to trust the electoral process again.

If the law doesn't trust someone to drive on an expired licence, why should it trust someone to vote with one?

An expired license may belong to a citizen who has moved out of state.

Help restore my confidence - indeed every citizen's confidence - in elections.  That means no possibility of fraud.  No appearance of fraud.  We need to trust elections again.

I did my job defending my country, when my country needed me.

Now you do your job.  Defend the integrity of the vote.
